Sudden Success Mentor Program offers many classes each month throughout the year. Sudden Success immerses sales associates into the daily functions and responsibilities of a real estate professional. The high intensity curriculum is combined with seasoned mentor field trainees. Accountability is the foundation of any successful mentoring program. Our sales training is hands on instead of a lecture or video.
Accelerated Success will introduce new topics as well as reinforce topics covered in Sudden Success, improving the associates skills is paramount.
Foundation to success and up and running: 30 day schedule of activities that will place the new associates firmly on the road to success.
Commercial training includes an array of special seminars and designations for both experienced commercial specialists and those wanting to enter the commercial field.
Advanced Masters Program: experienced associates in addition to seminars and our scheduled training classes, you are encouraged to attend our Advanced Masters Program. Success is the most important aspect of the CENTURY 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. Training Program. Less than 20% of real estate associates have a business plan. We believe without a detailed business plan to answer key questions about your business and provide you with a platform for future growth, success in real estate becomes much more difficult. Our real estate coaching and business planning outlines and evaluates all aspects of your real estate business and establishes a specific road map and process on how to achieve your personal and financial goals. A good business plan starts with what you want in your personal life, how much you want to earn, and then guides you though the process of generating positive income, your revenue less your expenses and continued business development. The Licensing Process
Obtaining a Real Estate License
Obtaining a Real Estate license in Texas is not difficult if you know what to expect and can fulfill the requirements. In Texas, a minimum requirement to join a real estate brokerage as a sales agent is to already have earned a real estate license. A new agent needs to obtain a sponsoring brokerage prior to pursuing a license. License requirements involve course work and passing a state exam. CENTURY 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. has an in-office pre-licensing school RETT (Real Estate Training and Technology) Licensing School, Inc. and also teaches required MCE classes for license renewal.
Steps to Obtain a Real Estate Sales Person License

Principles of Real Estate – 60 classroom hours, divided into two 30 hour courses

Promulgated Contract Forms – 30 classroom hours

The question often arises about credit for related courses, usually related course credits no longer apply. An applicant should check with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). CENTURY 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. has Jewel Johnson and Tina Jacobsen available to help you with this inquiry. The current fee for all six required courses at RETT school in our office is $749 if paid in advance or $149 for each course individually. The tuition includes all textbooks and materials.

After you have completed your education requirements, you may file and pay for the application for inactive sales person license on the TREC website. The current fee is $162 and is subject to change. Copies of your completion certificates or education transcripts are sent with the application do not send the originals, they will not be returned.

Your fingerprints are required as a matter of law under the Texas Real Estate License Act. Once you apply for a license and receive a TREC identity number, you may make an appointment online for fingerprinting at one of several area locations. Prior fingerprinting does not qualify. The approximate one time charge for fingerprints is $22 and is subject to change. This event will also trigger your background check. You will not receive your license until the background check is completed and cleared. The background check by law includes proper repayment history of any Texas guaranteed student loans.

Once TREC clears you for exam eligibility, you will be notified by email to contact Pearson VUE the contract exam administrator. They will give you detailed instructions on how to register and pay for the exam. Current exam fee is around $62 and is subject to change. The exam is in two parts with Texas State specific questions and National questions. State specific is 40 questions and National is 80 questions. You have four hours to take the exam. Time should not be a factor in not finishing the exam. Applicants who have not adequately prepared themselves for the exam have been known to fail it. If you fail the State 40 questions and pass the National 80 questions, you only have to retake the State 40 questions and vice-versa. Instructors in our office RETT school will introduce you to effective exam prep programs. You have one year from the date of your application to TREC to complete the exam. Immediate testing after completion of your course work is our recommendation. Once you have applied, the approval process takes anywhere from five to ten working days on average.

After passing your exam, you must have a sponsoring broker with an active license to sponsor you and activate your license. You cannot practice real estate in an inactive status. You can name a sponsoring broker at the time you apply to TREC or you can wait until after you have passed the exam. Again, our staff will help you with that process.

The licensing school here at CENTURY 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. (Grapevine, TX) RETT (Real Estate Training and Technology) Licensing School, Inc. is open weekdays from 8 am until 4:20 pm Monday through Thursday. It’s recommending that you begin with Principles courses but you can start your education on any given Monday. Subject matter is approached with lessons in actual application of the material, not just abstract information. This gives you a better grasp of information both for testing purposes and actual use.
