Bowman Supports NFL Character Camp
GRAPEVINE, Texas (November 16, 2010) – CENTURY 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. has partnered with former Dallas Cowboy Reggie Barnes as the lead sponsor for Reggie's NFL Character Camp. The NFL Character Camp was created to instill and enhance positive character traits in the lives of young men, through the game of football. Each year, the camp sets aside 25 percent of its openings for underprivileged youth.
This year, there were more than 400 youth involved in the camp. In addition to Reggie, the coaching staff included former NFL players,Tony Banks, Russell Maryland, Ray Mickens, Kevin Starr, Brian Williams, as well as Chris Wyatt who assisted in the development of professional athletes from the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins and the Indianapolis Colts.
"We are delighted to sponsor this program," said Mike Bowman. "The NFL Character Camp offers a unique opportunity for youth across the North Texas to not only learn the game of football by former NFL athletes but also about values and principles both on and off the field."
