Dave Bowman Receives the dfwREALTORS "Realtor of the Year" Easterwood Cup Award

February 13, 2009 -- The dfwRealtors named Dave Bowman "Realtor of the Year." Dave was recognized for his contributions to dfwREALTORS, Texas Association of REALTORS, the National Association of REALTORS and to the real estate industry outside of the Association as well as civic and community service.

Dave Bowman has been in the real estate business for 22 years and currently holds the position of Vice President of Production for CENTURY 21 Mike Bowman, Inc. He has already been honored as a top producing agent and won the prestigious North East Tarrant County REALTOR® of the year award. Having been recognized with area wide awards for his success - it is clear that our winner is well deserving of this years’ Easterwood Cup award. On the state level our recipient has served as a member of the TAR Board of Directors and is TAR Region 12 Vice-President.

Locally our award winner is a current member of the dfwREALTORS® - MetroTex Board of Directors; serving as liaison to the MLS Committee, has served on the dfwREALTORS® Governmental Affairs Committee. It is also the work he does in his community that further defines his commitment to service.

Dave is actively involved with the Phillips’ Wish Foundation. This foundation helps collect all the essential needs for the homeless and needy populations of both Dallas and Tarrant counties. Each year he helps to distribute items that many of us take for granted on a daily basis to shelters that house the growing homeless population as well as delivering items directly to the men, women and children that have found themselves literally on the street without a shelter to turn to. Dave Bowman's actions give a glimpse of what the face of real estate should be; someone with the ability to lead, work hard towards personal and professional goals and lending a hand to the less fortunate amongst us.
